Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: March 2026

By requesting service, approving an estimate, scheduling work, or making payment, you (“Client”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Services

RYTECH INC. provides mobile marine repair, maintenance, installation, and diagnostic services. All work is performed in a professional and workmanlike manner based on industry standards.

2. Estimates & Scope

  • Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

  • Estimates are based on visible conditions only.

  • Additional issues may be discovered during service and will be communicated and quoted accordingly

  • Work of any kind, including all service calls, travel fees and related parts, will not proceed without Client authorization, which may only be provided electronically or in writing.

 

3. Mobile Service & Service Calls

RYTECH INC. operates as a mobile service provider.

  • A service call and/or travel fee may apply.

  • Service call fees are non-refundable once a technician is dispatched.

  • Lack of access, missed appointments, or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in additional charges, including situations where work cannot be completed due to site or vessel conditions.

  • Unless quoted as a flat fee, all labor services will be billed at an hourly rate based on actual time to perform job rounded up to the nearest 1/2 hour.

 

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon receipt of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods: credit card, ACH, check, or cash.

  • Late or unpaid balances may result in fees, interest, suspension of services, or collection activity as permitted by state law.

 

5. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the vessel

  • Ensure the vessel is accessible at the scheduled time

  • Provide necessary utilities if required

  • Disclose known issues or prior repairs

  • Secure personal property

  • Pay invoices in a timely manner

 

6. Parts & Materials

Parts may be new and/or sourced from third-party suppliers. Manufacturer warranties apply where available.
 

RYTECH INC. makes no independent warranties on parts and materials and relies solely on manufacturer warranties where applicable.

7. Limited Warranty (Labor Only)

Labor is warrantied for 60 days from the date of service.

 

This warranty:

  • Covers workmanship only.

  • Does not cover misuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, environmental conditions, or pre-existing issues.

  • Warranty claims must be reported within the warranty period.

 

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • RYTECH INC. is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or manufacturer failures.

  • RYTECH INC. is not liable for loss of use, downtime, or indirect damages.

  • Liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service performed, except where prohibited by applicable law.

 

9. Indemnification

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless RYTECH INC. from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from conditions outside of RYTECH INC.’s control, including but not limited to vessel condition, prior repairs, or third-party actions.

 

10. Safety & Right to Refuse Work

RYTECH INC. reserves the right to delay, stop, or refuse work if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.

 

11. Storage & Unclaimed Property

Storage fees may apply for vessels, parts, or equipment left in our care. Unclaimed property may be handled in accordance with state lien and abandoned property laws.

 

12. Privacy

We collect basic client information to provide services and communicate. We do not sell personal information.

 

13. Dispute Resolution

Disputes shall be governed by the laws of the state in which the service was performed. Both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution prior to legal action.

 

14. Acceptance

By approving an estimate, requesting service, or submitting payment, the Client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
